Women in Agriculture

Partners’
Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program focuses on expanding opportunities and providing technical
assistance to groups who historically have had little access to such resources.
These groups include indigenous groups, small-scale farmers, and women. Our F2F
volunteers help promote gender equality by encouraging women to participate in
workshops and trainings. Female F2F volunteers also play a key role in
reinforcing the value and knowledge that women provide in agricultural
production and income-generation. Approximately 30% of our F2F volunteers and 50% of our beneficiaries are women.
